True Geordie has been all over combat sports news as of late. The flamboyant youtuber managed to get a rise out of Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury earlier in the week.
Fury went balistic during an interview and caused quite a scene.
But things didn’t dial down on the drama for True Geordie from there.
Famous social media influencer ‘True Geordie’ issued an apology to Andrew Tate after an Islamophobic comment. Geordie apologized as soon as he received backlash and criticism.
Brian Davis, famously known as True Geordie, made a comment about Andrew Tate, who recently converted to Islam. Many people out there don’t believe that Tate seriously converted but believe it to be a publicity ploy.
However, Davis’ comment on Tate is on another level of insult. Davis said that Tate should blow himself up to prove that he is serious about converting to Islam. Following this harsh comment, Davis received huge backlash from fans and his his partnership with Gym Shark was terminated.
Davis then issued an apology to everyone, especially Andrew Tate. He also suggested everyone to start listening to Andrew Tate.
“I made a very stupid comment last week on a livestream which has upset a lot of people. I want to say sorry, please watch this guy as I mean every word. ”
“I made a joke in questioning that ‘newfound faith’ of his, that conveniently comes at a time when he needs as many supporters as he can get. It was a stupid joke.”
“When I say that out loud, when I’m aware of it, f***ing horrendous. It was one of those off-the-cuff remarks I made with a total lack of thought, and I used an unrealistic stereotype to take aim at someone who seriously dislikes me.”
“Obviously I don’t believe that’s what Muslims actually do. It was a very stupid thing to say. It was an idiotic joke – one I’m sorry for.” Davis said in a recent video.
Andrew Tate was a kickboxer who won the ISKA Full Contact Cruiserweight championship in England. Nowadays, the British-American gained huge fame by creating a mess on social media over his statements regarding gender, women, business, and class. He uses his controversial takes and toxic masculinity to gain clout and followers.
He also became a businessman and owns several Casinos in his home country Romania. He also has Youtube channels called Tate Speech and TATE CONFIDENTIAL. With all that, Andrew Tate is now a top-tier social media influencer in 2022.
Andrew Tate also responded to Davis’ harsh comment about him. He fired back at Davis and said that Davis deserves all the consequences.
“Making f*cking racist comments about an entire religion as if that’s somehow funny. Let me tell you something my friend, and True Geordie if you are watching this, this is a message directly to you. There are certain times in life when you need to know when to shut the f*** up.”
“But to insult my religion, and the religion of billions of people across the f**king planet, making ignorant jokes about blowing ourselves up, thinking it’s gonna go without consequence, you’re gonna learn very quickly my friend that was a mistake.” Tate said
