But while the comedy is accidental, Ortiz’ political aspirations are very real. This led to Ortiz having a seat on the Huntington Beach City Council – and resigning in disgrace.
Following his resignation, Ortiz has pledged his support for the Republican candidate for governor of Hawaii, BJ Penn. Penn even said Ortiz would be joining him to help campaign during his appearance on the Joe Rogan experience.
With the leak of the Supreme court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, Ortiz found himself advocating for a woman’s right to choose.
Ortiz recently defended the right during an appearance.
Ortiz was asked if there were parts of Trump policy he disagrees with. In addition to the wall ordeal, Ortiz expressed he’s really passionate about another thing:
” I’m really, really, really, really passionate about is the pro life deal. Yeah, do not agree upon that. That’s one thing I don’t and, you know,..”
“For a woman, you know, you got to understand bringing a kid into this world has to be a solid decision. ”
“I mean, there’s so many different things that happened. I mean, we left the kid who has health problems, and half his head didn’t develop all the way, or things like that.”
“And then there’s families that do deal with that. And they do have to take care of their kid for the rest of the kid’s life, and more power to those parents.”
“And I’m very proud of those parents. They do do that. But at the same time, I think a woman should have the opportunity to make that decision, because it is the worst decision to make”
“I mean, it’s a super tough decision.” Tito concluded adding:
“The governor should not make that decision.”
