(Video) UFC’s Michael Chandler sang Britney Spears on The Masked Singer

Since joining the UFC, Michael Chandler’s fame has increased significantly. Chandler was last seen in the octagon hitting Tony Ferguson in the face with a vicious front kick, rendering Ferguson unconscious. The former lightweight champion of Bellator is now famous enough to be cast on The Masked Singer Live.

The Masked Singer Live attendees were not enthralled with Chandler’s performance of Britney Spears’ Hit Me Baby One More Time. Nevertheless, everyone enjoyed themselves.

In his awkward robot boombox costume, Chandler made his entrance. He tried his best to include some dancing steps.

Natasha Bedingfield is the presenter of The Masked Singer Live. When she unmasked him, the Ryman Auditorium audience in Nashville cheered loudly. In the video, viewers can hear Chandler’s kid exclaiming “That’s daddy!” as Chandler removes his costume.

Chandler was last seen in the octagon hitting Tony Ferguson in the face with a vicious front kick, rendering Ferguson unconscious. He is presently taking a break following his decisive KO victory over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274. Dana White has said that Chandler may face Conor McGregor next.

McGregor has yet to provide a firm comeback date. It seems that he may not return until 2023.

While at The Masked Singer Live, Michael Chandler was all grins and giggles. In a different incident however, things got hot when he was at UFC 276 in Las Vegas.

Chandler is seen in video footage shot by Gilbert Burns fighting verbally with fellow lightweight contender Dustin Poirier. In the footage, Poirier is heard yelling and calling Chandler a “phony” repeatedly.

For months, there has been back and forth between Poirier and Chandler in the media. Poirier seemed to take offense at some of Chandler’s remarks and refused to engage in combat.

In a tweet in response to the event, Chandler wrote:

“Simple truth in life – you aren’t yourself when you’re that thirsty. Keep your cool, be a professional, especially in public. Your insecurities are showing.”
