(Video) Nate Diaz calls out ‘disrespectful’ Jake Paul for Conor McGregor diss

Nate Diaz hints at a potential return to the octagon. During an appearance on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, Diaz expressed his willingness to compete in the UFC again. While he didn’t specify a date, he emphasized that every bout can change the landscape of the sport.

However, Diaz’s focus seems to be on a different event at the moment. He is set to face Jake Paul on August 5, 2023, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Diaz expressed his disdain for Paul’s arrogant behavior and lack of respect for fellow MMA stars, including Conor McGregor.

“Out of the UFC—big performances, good performances. People see Jake Paul coming in yelling crazy s*it at people. I ain’t gonna lie dude, this guy thinks he’ll beat everyone’s a*s and he’s louder than all you fools that are really beating people’s a*s. So, now I have to step out the box real quick and whip this motherf*cker’s ass so everyone knows who’s the real a*swhopper. You understand what I’m saying?”

During the interview, Diaz called out Paul for his brash antics and challenged him to back up his words with actions in the ring. Diaz took exception to Paul’s disrespectful remarks about McGregor and his wife, stepping up to defend the UFC star’s honor.

“He was talking s*it to Conor and dissing his wife and s*it. Some real disrespectful stuff that he shouldn’t have been saying and nobody’s saying s*it. I’m the one who said ‘Shut the f*ck up, b*tch. I’ll whip your a*s for real. Have some respect.’”

Nate Diaz reportedly opted to become a free agent despite UFC targeting a McGregor trilogy. According to reports, Diaz’ management is still open to any and all offers and he appears to be on good terms with the brass.

Previously Diaz shot down reports of a trilogy and said he’s not exactly buddies with McGregor so the two haven’t discussed any of it.

Depending on what happens, UFC is likely to keep the door ajar for a Diaz comeback though that would require a new contract.

Paul previously made derogatory comments towards McGregor saying:

“What the f*** is up you Irish c***? Good morning Conor McGregor.”

“I know you’re probably beating up old dudes in a bar right now or maybe you’re j***ing off as you’re sick of f***ing your wife, I mean, she’s a four [out of ten], Conor you could do a lot better, but happy Monday!”

Then he proceeded to say he sent an offer… Suffice to say the offer wasn’t well received.
