Shoe artist surprises Joe Rogan with a pair of custom martial arts inspired shoes

YouTuber Marko astounded Joe Rogan with a pair of customized sneakers that seamlessly incorporated elements from Rogan’s tattoos and favorite literary works.

Sneaker enthusiasts have always made their sneakers and shoes unique. But in recent years, this practice has gone beyond just doing it for yourself. Unsurprisingly, the UFC color commentator was taken aback when he first laid eyes on these distinct pairs.

Ahead of UFC 292, YouTuber Marko unveiled an exquisitely designed set of Puma sneakers. It was meticulously crafted to reflect Joe Rogan’s unique inclinations. The sneakers encapsulated Rogan’s individuality, encompassing his tattoos, life philosophy, and well-known passion for hunting, among other traits. Additionally, Marko replaced the Puma logo with the JRE podcast logo.

Marko documented the entire creative process in a captivating YouTube video, showcasing the intricate steps that spanned a total of nine days to complete the customized shoes. Rogan’s immediate reaction upon receiving the sneakers was one of sheer enthusiasm and admiration. “Dude! These are socool,” exclaimed Rogan, unable to contain his excitement.

He continued: “That is so cool. Dude, I’m going to wear these at the UFC weigh-ins today. I’m pumped, thank you very much. Thank you.”

True to his word, Rogan proudly sported the customized sneakers during the weigh-ins which left the YouTuber and himself pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Previously, Joe Rogan has voiced an unconventional viewpoint regarding Off-White Nike sneakers. The subject arose during episode #1407 of the Joe Rogan Experience, where Rogan engaged in a conversation with Michael Malice.

Rogan discussed the well-known Off-White X Nike collaborations that have been immensely famous in the sneaker scene in recent years. He voiced distaste for the red hangtag, which is a defining aspect of these partnerships.

Rogan stated, “I was buying a pair of Nikes for my kid, and they were like, ‘Oh, those are Off-White.’ I was like, ‘What’s up with this green thing?’ [They said], ‘Oh, you leave that on.’ [I said], ‘Fuck you, I’m not leaving this stupid plastic tag on. No, you don’t leave that on.’ And these are huge. They’re cumbersome, they look dumb…This is probably a plot by the Russians, and the Chinese, and the Iranians to make sure our kids grow dumber and dumber.”
