(Video) UFC star Sean Strickland pulls gun on kids playing ding-dong ditch

Sean Strickland’s residence is not the one to test with pranks or suspicious behavior.

A recent incident highlighted the former middleweight champion’s commitment to security. When two restless kids rang his doorbell at 1 a.m., they learned the hard way to not pull such pranks.

Strickland came out of the house calmly, dressed in a robe and armed with a gun for protection.

This isn’t the first time Strickland has taken action to protect his property. Last year, he pulled a gun on a man who seemed to be hanging around his car last year. Strickland approached the guy, thinking he was trying to steal his vehicle. He put a pistol to his head, only to discover that the man was being aggressively sought after by the local police after a personal dispute.

Even those close to Strickland aren’t exempt from his vigilant nature. During a surprise birthday party thrown by friends and family in his Las Vegas home, Strickland nearly drew his weapon. He had mistaken the celebratory gathering for a potential threat.

Despite recent events, Strickland remains focused on his combat sports career. After giving up his middleweight crown to Dricus Du Plessis, he is set to face Paulo Costa on June 1 in UFC 302.

Initially, Strickland was hesitant due to a low offer from the UFC given his position as a former champion. Days after airing his dissatisfaction on social media, the UFC came up with a fresh offer. This led Strickland to finally sign on the dotted line and get directly into training camp.

Currently holding the top contender spot in the division, Strickland’s upcoming bout against Costa is important. A strong performance could propel him back into title contention.

However, he must first wait to see who ends up winning in a match between Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.
