Mike Tyson’s ear-shaped edibles got banned in one US state

Boxing legend Mike Tyson recently launched ear shaped edible gummies. The product named ‘Mike Bites’ is referencing that epic moment that happened 25 years ago. While we might laugh now, Evander Holyfield’s ear hasn’t been the same since.

The vegan product was rolled out in California and the response was positive . But things didn’t go smoothly in Colorado – in fact the product got banned.

In Colorado, Tyson’s edibles will be in the shape of a “T,” according to Denver-based outlet Westword. This due to a 2016 state law that forbids edibles in the shape of humans, animals, fruit, or other objects that could be enticing to children.

Back in 1997, Mike Tyson let his rage take control and infamously bit Evander Holyfield’s ear. The 55-year-old American was eventually disqualified and his boxing license was revoked. Not to mention that he was also fined $3 million.

In 2019, Iron Mike has invited Evander Holyfiled on his podcast and the two have seemingly reconciled. Holyfield said that he forgave Tyson for what he did back then.

Mike Tyson is planning to return to the boxing ring at the age of 55 years old. Seeing how a celebrity boxing career can be super lucrative, Mike is willing to put on the gloves again. He is currently in talks to make a boxing return..
