Elon Musk’s dad claims Mark Zuckerberg challenge is a publicity stunt

Recently, Elon Musk’s father has denounced his son’s planned cage match with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as a “silly” publicity stunt.

Errol Musk talked about the Twitter CEO’s increasingly erratic conduct, who claimed to have shown up unannounced outside his billionaire rival’s house on Monday for a practise bout in his backyard.

Errol Musk has dubbed the idea of cage match as a mere ploy for publicity, suggesting that Elon is drawing attention to ‘X.’ Although Musk’s father has declared the match won’t happen, Zuckerberg accepted the challenge.

Errol Musk stated: “It’s to get publicity for X. Elon’s not faking it, just drawing attention to X. A fight would be silly. It’s so high school and banal. Whatever Elon is doing here is far removed from his immediate tasks.”

“People probably ask him about this fight thing. What must he say? ‘No?’ That would look pretty poor. What can he say?”

Musk recently revealed his private chats with Zuckerberg over the weekend. In it, he pushed his tech rival to accept a practise match before their projected $1 billion match.

Out of concern that they are “hyping something that will never happen,” Zuckerberg urged Musk to either “move on” from the drama or take the idea of a match seriously.

Recently, Musk claimed to be outside his Palo Alto residence in a post. He tweeted: “Knock, knock … challenge accepted … open the door”

Musk then went on to add: “Thought you might want some tea, so I brought the bags”

Musk then tweeted on Monday afternoon: “For the Tesla FSD test drive in Palo Alto tonight, I will ask the car to drive to [Zuckerberg’s] house. Will also test latest X livestream video, so you can monitor our adventure in real-time!”

“If we get lucky and Zuck [sic] actually answers the door, the fight is on!”

In a post on his new social media site Threads, the creator of Facebook urged Musk to get in touch with him if he ever “gets serious about a real date and official event” for an MMA cage match.

Zuck said: “I offered a real date. [UFC president] Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.”

“If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

Musk on Monday said that he may need surgery following an MRI of his neck and upper back. His father confirmed with The Sun that Musk had injured himself while skiing.

He said: “Elon is busy with many things. I don’t think he’d give this much thought other than people asking him about it, and he feels the need to reply. It’s not complicated.”

“Consider that the new Tesla is coming out, Starship is ready to go, Starlink is bursting at the seams. He’s got AI left, right, and center, Twitter is a major headache, then he gets asked: ‘Are you going to fight Zuckerberg?'”
