World’s Worst Self Defense Coach set to corner UFC Star Joaquin Buckley

Commander Dale Brown might’ve been a bit crafty in generating his narrative – but it looks like it’s going to pay off. At UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev, Brown will be joining the likes of Joshua Fabia, Moni Aizik and Mrs. Mike Perry as pseudo experts that have cornered UFC fighters.

TMZ was the first to break the news. This isn’t the first contact Buckley has had with Detroit Urban Survival Training ( D.U.S.T.).

Buckley is 27 years old and has a 13-4-0 fight record.

Brown can be seen showcasing two ways to deflect a kick – both reminiscent of single leg techniques. He finished off the video with a highly questionable way to apply ankle lock/heel hook.

Buckley can be seen responding to the techniques and not  trying to get one up on the shady self defense coach. Some internet commenters were less ambiguous in their reaction to the video.  One commenter wrote:

“Can you post a video showing these same techniques when on someone who is not kicking slowly”

To which Brown responded:
“No, because people can get hurt.”

Buckley made his notoriety in the UFC scoring one of the most impressive knock outs of all time. But, as he admits, he still has ways to go in his martial arts career.
