Before his match with John Gotti III last week, Playboy model Francia James put boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the test. It seems like Mayweather Jr. possesses some of the best hand-eye coordination in sports history.
Mayweather skillfully maintained his composure, avoiding any distractions as James attempted to mesmerize him with her enticing moves. This amusing incident occurred during a quasi-faceoff between the two, captured on video.
James shared this unique meeting with Mayweather on her social media, eagerly inviting her followers to decide the victor of their impromptu face to face encounter.
Throughout the interaction, Mayweather sported a constant smile and unwavering eye contact. He resisted James’ attempt to break his focus. It is without a doubt that the undefeated 50-0 retired boxer emerged triumphant from this playful test of wills.
While the video was initially released couple days ago, it has only recently gained significant attention on social media due to the controversy surrounding the June 11 bout.
During the bout, Gotti III incited a massive scrap involving 60 individuals inside the ring. Despite the referee’s attempts to halt the contest, Gotti III continued throwing punches and disregarded the official’s authority.
Amidst incessant trash-talking from both combatants, the referee issued warnings and urged them to cease their verbal sparring or risk an early stoppage of the match. Disregarding the official’s cautionary words, the two persisted in their trash-talk which led to the referee to make good on his promise.
Even after the stoppage, Gotti III relentlessly pursued Mayweather and engaged in a futile exchange of blows. However, neither competitor succeeded in landing a significant hit.
Within moments, the ring became engulfed by the entourages of both competitors and other individuals. This resulted in a chaotic scene that lasted approximately five minutes before spreading throughout the entire arena.
Gotti is adamant about getting another opportunity to fight Mayweather in the ring despite the fallout and the consequences.
Gotti wrote on Instagram: “Joe Rogan it was mutually called for both of us cursing at one another.”
“Those are the only two moments I clinched the [whole] fight. You still the man [though] Joe. Logan Paul clinched five million times though but that was okay. Floyd gassed himself out and I started having brief moments and they called it. Hard when everyone on his payroll.”
“The majority spoke you f—— pineapple. Let’s do it again, this time your whole team getting left in the street. Me and this girl Floyd Mayweather run it back in New York. Who’s in? This time I’m bringing heavy hitters. Next time I fight him like a dog.”
