Sean O’Malley admits Wife Danya Gonzalez is not always okay with his daliances

Sean O’Malley is the newly crowned bantamweight champion after his victory at UFC 292 and is undoubtedly on top of the world. Yet, O’Malley’s mindset of being a ‘king’ existed long before his championship win.

During an interview with Bradley Martyn on Raw Talk following his title win against Aljamain Sterling, O’Malley shed light on his unique relationship with his wife Danya Gonzalez. O’Malley candidly discussed his open relationship, shedding light on the complexities it entails.

While O’Malley is comfortable with this arrangement, it’s apparent that Danya Gonzalez occasionally has reservations.

O’Malley asserts, “I’m a king, I pay for everything. I treat Danya like a queen. If I get a little p**sy on the side, what does that have to do with anything? I have testosterone running through my veins; it’s simple.”

He further elaborates, “Danny is never fine with it, I mean, she has been. She’s gone through phases, but then we have a baby and then her hormones change.”

Additionally, O’Malley insists on exclusivity for himself and prohibits Danya from engaging with other men. He revealed all this on the full send podcast.

O’Malley’s comments have sparked controversy and drawn criticism, particularly for the way he appears to treat his wife. UFC legend Vitor Belfort and others have voiced their disapproval.

Andrew Tate’s ‘red pill’ ideology has been cited as a potential influence behind O’Malley’s behavior and that of others who share similar views.

The couple initially crossed paths while training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a gym. Over time, their shared passion for mixed martial arts blossomed into a romantic relationship.

Danya’s unwavering support for Sean throughout his career has been remarkable. In turn, Sean affectionately describes her as his “hairstylist, massage therapist, physical therapist, chef, nutritionist.” It’s clear that Danya plays a vital role in the life of the bantamweight champ.

In late 2020, the couple welcomed their first daughter Elena. Apart from motherhood, Danya is actively pursuing competitive Jiu-Jitsu and studying Mixed Martial Arts. She has also established her own business ‘Hairapy By Danya,’ attracting a famous clientele base over the years.

O’Malley has been remarkably open about the unconventional nature of their relationship. While it’s clear that he’s allowed extramarital affairs and Danya is not, there have been exceptions. This includes exploring unconventional aspects like threes**es.

All things considered, O’Malley believes that their open relationship has strengthened their marriage.
