OF model turned boxer Elle Brooke in negotiations to box UFC vet Paige VanZant

OnlyF*ns creator and boxer Elle Brooke is gearing up for a significant challenge as she prepares to face former UFC sensation Paige VanZant in her next bout.

The clash between Brooke and VanZant is scheduled to take place at Misfits Boxing X Series 15 on May 25. The bout was inadvertently revealed during the DAZN broadcast of Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney’s press conference.

Misfits promoter Mams Taylor expressed his frustration over the leak via Twitter, labeling it as “Absolutely f****ng moronic.” Brooke swiftly responded to Taylor’s tweet with a “Fake news,” though the response was later deleted.

Paige VanZant was once hailed as a promising prospect in the UFC, but faced setbacks in her career. With four losses out of nine matches during her tenure with the promotion, VanZant encountered frequent injuries during her MMA journey.

Transitioning to bare-knuckle boxing with BKFC, VanZant faced defeats against Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich. This ultimately led to her departure from the promotion without another competitive appearance.

On the other hand, Brooke made her ring comeback in the ring in January. She won the promotion’s women’s middleweight title by KOing Love Island star Andrea-Jane Bunker in their rematch. After the bout, the OnlyFans boxer seemed to downplay the idea of facing a former UFC competitor like VanZant. She expressed hesitation about taking on such a challenge, preferring to gradually build her career and explore matchups within the influencer boxing circuit.

She said: “Maybe a crossover boxer next but I don’t think I’m prepared for that yet. Hopefully there’s another influencer boxer in the scene, I don’t want to be too big for my boots and be like ‘Let’s get a UFC fighter in that’s well hard’. No, let’s take my time and build, I enjoy fighting and enjoy processing in boxing.”

Although VanZant hasn’t engaged in combat for over three years, she hinted to a boxing match recently. She said: “Gloves on, it’s just straight boxing. It’s really, really exciting. I did think my next fight would be a bare-knuckle boxing match, but this opportunity came forward, and I was just like f*** it, let’s go. So I took a fight.”

VanZant stated: “The date they offered me was March 23, which was perfect. Hell yeah, I’ll get one more fight in before I turn 30. After I accepted it, they’re like ‘You know what, we’re going to move it to [May or June].’ I heard both dates, so once I have the full information, we’ll be able to release it on the podcast.”
