Mike Tyson exposes Paul brothers for lowball offer

After several rounds of rumors about a potential boxing fight between Tyson and the Paul brothers, Tyson explained why the boxing match never materialized.

During a superbowl watch party alongside football player Brandon Marshall and former UFC fighters Daniel Cormier and Brandan Schaub, Tyson talked about the potential fight with the Youtuber.

“I didn’t [even] see the last check that they offered me,” Tyson said.

Brandon Marshall then questions the boxing legend:

“What was the last check that they offered you?”

Then Tyson responded:

“It wasn’t enough.”

Former UFC Champion Daniel Cormier then decides to ask Tyson if he thinks Jake Paul could pose a threat in a potential boxing fight against him.

“I don’t think so…” Tyson says.

“And I’m being realistic, I don’t think so.”

The impact that the Paul brothers have had on fighting sports is interesting. They’ve definitely introduced a whole new generation of viewers in addition to reinvigorating the fandom thank to cross promoting with MMA fighters.

Logan Paul is 0-1 as a professional boxer, but he also faced  Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight that ended in a draw.

Jake Paul is 5-0 as a professional boxer with 4 knockouts on his resume. Paul lucked out in his last showing having knocked out Tyron Woodley after a super slow fight.

Even though the Paul brothers generate a lot of interest, Tyson has apparently moved on from a potential fight against one of them.

The Sun has published a rumor that Jake Paul and Tyson verbally agreed to fight each other for $49 million payday, that statement however was denied by Tyson on Twitter.

“This is new to me. I saw Jake in St. Barths and he never mentioned it.” Tyson jokes.

Logan Paul has yet to see victory inside the ring, but that doesn’t stop him from saying that he could beat Tyson if they ever met.

During an episode of his podcast “Impaulsive”, Logan talked about a potential matchup with Tyson:

“My lawyer mentioned it and he’s like, ‘Nah, Tyson will rip your head off, you don’t stand a chance.’ I’m like, ‘I just went through all this.’ You can’t tell me I can’t beat Mike Tyson. He’s old, old.”
