Donald Trump scrutinized by fans for an unusual reaction to Conor McGregor’s catastrophic leg break

Interesting footage emerged online recently.

Former president of USA was just reinstated on twitter and with it came a peculiar video of him attending a UFC event.

UFC star Conor McGregor hasn’t appeared in the octagon for over a year. ‘The Notorious’ was last seen in the octagon in July of  last year. He took on top contender Dustin Poirier in a trilogy with a 1-1 score. The pair headlined UFC 264 with a fierce starting round. However, the clash ended in an anticlimactic way as the Irishman suffered a pretty gruesome injury.

Conor McGregor snapped his leg while stepping back to avoid Poirier’s attack. He fell off and Poirier delivered a barrage of punches before the referee stopped it. It was later announced that Poirier won via doctor’s stoppage in the first round.

Everyone who watched it live was stunned seeing such a gruesome injury.

However, this wasn’t the case of the 45th president of the USA, Donald Trump. 76-year-old attends major UFC events pretty often, and he was there in the VIP seat at UFC 264 to see McGregor and Poirier. However, his reaction to the injury was a bit different.

Donald Trump was clearly unfazed and looked pretty expressionless. His lack of reaction gained attention from MMA fans on Twitter. They slammed Trump while also poking fun at him.

One fan harshly criticized Trump and said, “Trump is a psychopath. He only cares what happens to him.”

Another fan joked that Trump wasn’t paying attention to the action. “He is distracted by the nice sparkly lights in the distance.”

While another one joked that Trump has seen a lot of ‘secrets’ and a leg break is nothing to him anymore. “Imagine knowing about aliens and seeing their alien genitals in CIA reports. A dude snapping his leg is no big deal.”

Conor McGregor himself admires Trump and even regarded him as the best president. Back in 2020, McGregor said that Trump is the “USA GOAT”.

“Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible. Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day America.” McGregor wrote on Twitter.

While his reaction might’ve been atypical it’s worth mentioning that despite his status he attended the live event among members of the audience in tow while tech oligarch Mark Zuckerberg had an actual event closed not just from fans of the sport but athletes families were also unable to attend.

While reports of Zuckerberg renting the event were disputed it was soon revealed he inked a lucrative deal with UFC to provide a ‘metaverse’ experience of what it’s like to watch MMA live – which the two companies then tested during an LFA event.
