Dillon Danis tries to rationalize using Nina Agdal to sell Logan Paul PPV, claims Logan made over $50M

In the realm of influencer boxing, the KSI vs. Tommy Fury bout witnessed exceptional success, garnering a remarkable reported 1.3 million pay-per-view  purchases. The spotlight, however, was not solely on the card itself but the substantial earnings reaped by Logan Paul, amassing an astonishing $50 million.

Influencer boxing, despite its controversy and skepticism from the combat sports community, has emerged as a highly profitable and triumphant venture. This surge in popularity can be attributed to the simplicity of boxing as a combat sport, making it accessible to a broad audience. Notably, the drama and rivalries surrounding these influencer boxing matches have played a pivotal role in capturing the imagination of a younger generation of fans.

One of the most significant influencer boxing events to date was the MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card, which unfolded in Manchester, England on October 14. The card featured a lineup of renowned influencers and social media personalities, building anticipation for the event weeks in advance.

KSI and Tommy Fury drew considerable attention, while Logan Paul and Dillon Danis ignited a personal feud, engaging in a heated exchange on social media. The tension surrounding these fights only intensified, further fueling anticipation for the event.

The event culminated in a series of controversies. Tommy Fury secured a victory via unanimous decision, although the outcome stirred controversy. Meanwhile, the Danis and Paul matchup proved underwhelming, concluding with Danis’s disqualification following an attempt at a guillotine choke. However, these developments failed to diminish the event’s prominence, with many considering it one of the most significant influencer boxing events to date.

Dillon Danis, in a recent appearance on Steiny’s podcast alongside the Nelk boys and other guests, defended his online altercation with Logan Paul’s fiancée. Danis claimed that his provocative actions were intended to generate excitement for the fight, an endeavor that undeniably succeeded as Logan Paul pocketed a staggering $50 million.

“He [Logan Paul] should be thanking me. He made $50 million in the pay-per-view. I mean, I was just selling a fight, that’s all it was,” Danis emphasized during the podcast.

Inquiries about the PPV sales figures arose during the podcast discussion, with Steiny speculating whether the rumored 1.3 million PPV purchases were accurate. Dillon Danis confidently confirmed this figure, indicating that the event had indeed exceeded this milestone.

The 1.3 million PPV purchases represent a colossal number, particularly for influencer boxing events that charged $54.99 USD or $19.99 GBP. It’s important to note that this figure excludes gate ticket sales and sponsorships, signifying that the total revenue generated was even more substantial. However, doubts linger among some regarding the credibility of the reported PPV sales.
