UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell has been left to host his podcast solo after his co-host, BJJ black belt Roli Delgado, quit following the debut episode. Mitchell revealed in the second episode of “ArkanSanity” that Delgado would no longer be involved, citing backlash from their first conversation.
“Roli, he can’t be with me no more because I made him look bad and everybody was thinking I’m crazy, which it’s fine if people think that I’m crazy, but people can’t be thinking he’s crazy,” Mitchell said at the start of episode two.
Delgado Distances Himself from Mitchell’s Views
Delgado’s departure follows intense criticism of Mitchell’s controversial statements during the podcast’s debut. In response, Delgado issued a formal statement apologizing for his role in amplifying Mitchell’s extreme views. He admitted that he had become desensitized to Mitchell’s rhetoric and regretted allowing the episode to be published.
“Publishing the conversation between Bryce and myself was a huge mistake,” Delgado wrote. “Bryce has extreme views and says crazy things so often that I was desensitized to the full gravity of some of the statements. I disagreed with him as I often do, however, I still take responsibility for promoting the conversation.”
Delgado further clarified that he does not condone any form of hate speech and acknowledged that freedom of speech comes with consequences. He emphasized that while Mitchell’s statements were offensive to many, he personally did not view him as hateful but recognized the impact of his words.
Mitchell’s Controversial Remarks Spark Backlash
The first episode of “ArkanSanity” drew sharp criticism after Mitchell made inflammatory claims about historical events, religion, and public figures. Among the most controversial:
- Elon Musk vs. Hitler – Mitchell argued that Musk seeks to control people, whereas Hitler “wanted to free his people.”
- Biblical Literalism – He rejected modern science, including evolution, and claimed the public school system is “run by the devil.”
- Ancient Conspiracy Theories – He insisted that biblical giants built the Egyptian pyramids using “resonating technology.”
- Defending Conor McGregor – Mitchell claimed McGregor’s legal troubles were part of a spiritual attack due to his Christian faith.
- Downplaying WWII War Crimes – He suggested that Hitler was misunderstood and that the Holocaust was exaggerated.
These remarks prompted widespread condemnation, leading Delgado to publicly disavow Mitchell’s views. Despite this, Mitchell remained defiant, showing no signs of retracting his statements.
Mitchell Moves Forward Solo
Despite losing his co-host, Mitchell expressed enthusiasm for continuing the podcast alone. “I’m more than happy to be sitting here and talking. I got plenty to talk about. I don’t think I’ll ever run out of stuff to talk about,” he said.
The second episode saw Mitchell shifting focus to new conspiratorial topics, including:
- Criticism of Trump’s Platforming of Larry Ellison – Mitchell accused Trump of making a mistake by allowing Ellison to promote AI-driven cancer vaccines, calling them “poison.”
- Warnings About AI and Vaccines – He claimed AI-powered medical solutions are dangerous and that vaccines contain neurotoxins.
- Fears of Digital Tracking and the “Mark of the Beast” – He suggested that microchips and vaccine mandates could lead to biblical prophecy being fulfilled.
While Mitchell continues to push forward with “ArkanSanity,” his statements have already led to fallout, with Delgado’s departure serving as the first major consequence.
