Yikes? UFC fans split as Brendan Schaub makes fun of Brock Lesnar’s doppelganger daughter

In a recent episode of their popular podcast, comedians Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen spent several minutes joking about the uncanny resemblance between former WWE and MMA icon Brock Lesnar and his young daughter.

The impetus for the riff was a photo of Schaub’s son, who Callen felt resembled Schaub strongly. This led Callen to quip: “Your son is beautiful but he looks like you had sex with you.”

Schaub immediately made the connection and replied: “Oh, you mean like Brock Lesnar’s daughter?”

Callen then continued by noting the striking similarity. He said: “It’s the Brock Lesnar phenomenon.”

Schaub them humorously jokes: “You know when she came out, Brock’s like, ‘Okay, f**k yeah dude, I see shot put in our future.”

Egging him on, Callen added: “Yeah. I mean there is, there is a large black man out there.”

While Lesnar himself has publicly marveled at his daughter looking like a “mini-me,” the comedians’ jokes about her appearance and athletic prospects play into stereotypes. The notion that she would be destined for shot put simply due to her lineage disregards her individuality and agency over her interests.

Mya is the daughter of Brock Lesnar, and she is quite an athletic prodigy. She is said to have broken a new shot put record at Colorado State.

Brock Lesnar is currently involved in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. In the case, Grant claims Vince McMahon exploited her as a sexual pawn in an effort to get Lesnar to re-sign in 2021. This was to the extent that one of the unofficial terms of Lesnar’s return was that he may “f**k” Grant.

Additionally, it is said that McMahon gave Grant instructions to create “personalized sexual content” for Lesnar, which included a video of her peeing. There were also reports of two planned sex meetings, but these never happened.

As these allegations came to light, Lesnar’s WWE comeback in the Royal Rumble was canceled. Also, WWE has since tried to distance itself from Lesnar.
