(Video) Ryan Garcia escorted out by security after brother loses boxing bout

It’s been a tumultuous week for the Garcia family in the world of boxing. Earlier this week, Ryan Garcia, one of the sport’s rising stars, found himself in hot water after posting several controversial tweets that led to him being banned by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and announcing he would seek treatment for substance abuse issues.

The drama continued on Saturday night as Ryan’s younger brother, Sean Garcia, stepped into the ring to face off against Amado Vargas, the son of boxing legend Fernando Vargas, on the undercard of the Jorge Masvidal-Nate Diaz fight.

Sadly for the Garcia family, the bout did not go their way, as Sean was outmatched and ultimately stopped by Vargas.

According to images and footage captured at the event, the loss seemed to take an emotional toll on Ryan, who was seen engaging in an altercation with security personnel and being escorted out of the arena.

“Ryan García was immediately escorted out by security after the fight due to an altercation with some fans,” tweeted Fredo Cervantes, a sports journalist covering the event.

Another reporter, Carlos Contreras Legaspi, shared a video on social media showing Ryan being ushered out of the venue.

In the aftermath, Ryan took to social media to offer his congratulations to Vargas, writing, “Sean just kept getting hit with the uppercut and never countered. Fair play, Amado, congrats.”

He also added, “Although I knock out you and all your brothers pretty easy, but congrats, you guys won.”

Despite the video evidence, Ryan later claimed that he had no issues with security and that the reports of an altercation were unfounded.

The Garcia family’s woes have been well-documented in recent weeks, and this latest incident only serves to underscore the challenges they’ve faced. As the boxing world continues to follow the family’s journey, fans can only hope that the Garcias will find a way to weather the storm and emerge stronger than ever.
