(Video) Influencer boxed UFC vet Rogerio Nogueira and got put to sleep

UFC legend Antonio Rogerio Nogueira demonstrated that age is merely a number as he faced off against Brazilian bodybuilder and social media influencer Fabio Tadalafellas at Fight Music Show 6 in Sao Paulo.

The 48-year-old Nogueira, affectionately known as “Minotauro,” made his return to the ring after a three-year hiatus from competition. The exhibition boxing match marked just his second bout since stepping away from the UFC following his final professional MMA contest against Shogun Rua in July 2020.

Despite approaching his fifth decade, the former PRIDE legend showed he still possesses the timing, power, and skill that made him one of the most respected competitors in combat sports history.

After a measured first round where both men appeared to be finding their range, Nogueira dramatically increased his offensive output in the second frame. The veteran fighter immediately began applying pressure, forcing Tadalafellas against the ropes with forward momentum that clearly bewildered the influencer.

A stinging right hand from Nogueira visibly stunned his opponent, setting up the dramatic finish. The UFC veteran then uncorked a perfectly placed left hand that connected squarely on Tadalafellas’ chin, sending the social media personality crashing to the canvas unconscious.

The official announcement echoed through the arena: “The winner is… Minotaur, the winner is… Botona Lona! The winner is… Botona! The match is over!”

This victory improves Nogueira’s exhibition boxing record to 2-0, following his unanimous decision win over Leonardo Guimaraes at Fight Music Show 1 in January 2022. Prior to his boxing endeavors, Nogueira’s last victory in professional competition came against Sam Alvey in September 2018.

Throughout his storied UFC career, Nogueira claimed victories over numerous high-profile opponents including Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz. This latest performance proves that despite his age, the Brazilian combat sports icon remains one of the most formidable competitors around, capable of delivering highlight-reel moments against much younger opposition.
