Joel Bauman, widely known as ‘King Bau,’ is a 32-year-old MMA star with an professional record of 7-3. His journey in the world of mixed martial arts has seen him compete in renowned organizations such as LFA and Bellator MMA.

Bauman’s most recent appearance took place at the Gamebred Bareknuckle 5 event, where he showcased his prowess by securing a second-round TKO victory against Maki Pitolo in the co-main event.

 

Post his remarkable victory, Joel Bauman didn’t hold back. In an unexpected move, he decided to challenge some of the biggest names in the industry.

Bauman’s list of prospective opponents includes none other than Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta. What’s intriguing is that Bauman also directed his challenge towards the Paul brothers, Jake Paul and Logan Paul, who have been making waves in combat sports with their unique crossovers from social media.

During a post-fight interview, Bauman addressed Mark Zuckerberg directly, labeling himself as the “Shadowban god.” He voiced his frustration at being censored and suppressed on Zuckerberg’s social media platform,

Instagram. Bauman’s criticism extended to Instagram itself, where he accused the platform of hosting content that he strongly disapproved of.

In his own words, “I fight to eradicate childhood malnutrition from the planet. That’s what I do, that’s why I fight, I fight for kids…Also, Logan Paul, Jake Paul, I’m the influencer of influencers, if you want to fight someone, then let’s fight to eradicate childhood malnutrition from the planet.”

The Gamebred Bareknuckle 5 event witnessed several electrifying matchups. Notably, former UFC heavyweight champions Junior Dos Santos and Fabricio Werdum faced off in the main event, with ‘Cigano’ emerging victorious once again.

Joel Bauman’s co-main middleweight bout against Maki Pitolo was a highlight of the evening. Bauman’s impressive performance led to a second-round TKO victory.

Other matchups on the card included Joshua Weems securing a unanimous decision win against Irwin Rivera in a bantamweight contest.

Former UFC contender Anthony Njokuani faced Brandon Jenkins in a welterweight battle, where Njokuani emerged victorious via unanimous decision. Ago Huskić also secured a unanimous decision victory against Brandon Davis in their featherweight matchup.

The action continued with Joey Ruquet defeating Joe Penafiel via second-round TKO in a 140-pound contest, and Jhonasky Sojo securing a first-round TKO victory against Tyler Hill in their 165-pound contest.

Bauman previously delivered an unhinged speech after victory, slamming Hollywood, Jimmy Kimmel while wearing a harness.
