UFC’s Bryan Battle rumored to receive a lifetime ban from competing in France after flipping off the fans

UFC welterweight Bryan Battle allegedly faces severe consequences following his actions at a recent event in Paris. The North Carolina native is reportedly set to receive a hefty fine and a lifetime ban from competing in France after making an offensive gesture towards spectators.

The incident occurred during Battle’s post-match interview following his victory over French UFC star Kevin Jousset at the Accor Arena. As the crowd expressed their disappointment with boos, Battle responded by directing a profane hand gesture towards them.

“I know y’all didn’t think the Butcher was going to lose to a French dude!” Battle exclaimed, further antagonizing the already disgruntled audience.

The French Athletic Commission is alleged to have taken a firm stance against Battle’s behavior, citing it as a gross violation of sportsmanship and disrespect towards the host nation.

The AC was rumored to have been agitated by Battle’s choice of walk out song as well, opting for a Kanye classic, N-words in Paris.

There is no independant confirmation for now.

The 30-year-old Battle, known for his aggressive style in the octagon, had been on a promising trajectory in the UFC’s welterweight division.

The coming weeks will likely see further developments in this story, as Battle, his management team, and the UFC navigate the fallout from this controversial moment in Paris.

Battle wasn’t the only provocative star on the card. In the main event, Moicano delivered another classic speech.

Renato Moicano secured a dominant victory over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris through a doctor’s stoppage after two rounds of relentless ground-and-pound. The Brazilian star quickly took control with a takedown and heavy strikes, leaving Saint Denis struggling and nearly blinded by the second round. Despite the home crowd’s support, Saint Denis couldn’t continue due to vision problems, leading the cageside doctors to call it. Moicano, the underdog going in, celebrated his fourth straight win at lightweight and used his interview to criticize the French government, adding an unexpected twist to the event.

“People from France don’t suck, but government in France is f—king horrendous,” said Moicano. “French Revolution in 1789 they tried to erase God from the map.”
