UFC veteran complains his ex wife and the kids have all his money and property: Everything I had I left to my ex-wife and children

In a revealing interview with Match TV, UFC heavyweight veteran Aleksei Oleinik (61-18-1)  has shared the emotional aftermath of his recent divorce, detailing the personal and financial toll it has taken on his life. Aleksei Oleinik fought 17 times in the UFC. His UFC career spanned from 2014 to 2022, where he became known for his unorthodox grappling and rare submission finishes, including the Ezekiel choke.

“I am left with no property, without anything else. Everything I had I left to my ex-wife and children,” Oleynik disclosed to Match TV. The Russian MMA fighter expressed how his diminishing career opportunities have affected his personal life. “I can’t compete due to my age and health conditions and make the same money for my fights. That’s probably why she left me. When she filed for divorce about a half a year ago I was trying to change her mind, I was trying to save the family.”

The veteran described his continued efforts to support his family despite the separation. “I’ve been paying the alimony in full and even extra [since the divorce], but it’s still not enough for her,” he stated. “I love our kids very much and every two or three months I fly over to the US to see them, but she manipulates them, blocks my number in their phones so I can’t call or text them.”

However, Tatyana Oleynik, his former wife, presents a contrasting narrative. Speaking to Match TV, she alleged that Alexey was unfaithful and eventually left his family for another woman. She contested his claims about property division, stating that banks had seized their assets due to non-payment, leaving her responsible for outstanding loans.

The situation appears to be heading toward legal proceedings, as Tatyana Oleynik has announced her intention to file a lawsuit against her ex-husband for protection of honor and dignity, as well as defamation.

The dispute provides a glimpse into the personal challenges faced by professional athletes as their careers wind down, highlighting how the transition can impact family dynamics and financial stability.
