Brazilian UFC light heavyweight contender Johnny Walker recently shared a startling extraterrestrial encounter from his youth during an appearance on the Jaxxon podcast.
Walker, known for his dynamic fighting style and flashy victories in the octagon, revealed that he witnessed what he believes was a UFO when he was just 14 years old in his native Brazil.
“I saw a spaceship when I was 14,” Walker stated matter-of-factly during the podcast conversation. When asked to elaborate on what he observed, Walker described the unidentified flying object as resembling “a giant zeppelin” that was hovering unusually low to the ground.
What particularly struck the UFC star about the encounter was the craft’s eerily silent operation. “It was very low and made no noise,” Walker explained, noting that the silent propulsion system defied his expectations of what conventional aircraft should sound like.
Walker’s reaction to the sighting was one of immediate alarm. “And then I f*cking run,” he admitted, describing his instinctive response to the unexplainable phenomenon.
The podcast hosts initially seemed surprised by Walker’s claim, with one even joking about the reference to “Led Zeppelin” before Walker clarified he was describing the distinctive blimp-like shape of the craft, comparing it to dirigibles from earlier eras.
Walker’s UFO story adds him to a growing list of public figures and athletes who have come forward with accounts of unexplained aerial phenomena. While skeptics might question such encounters, recent increased government transparency around UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) has brought new attention to such testimonies.
But Walker is far from the only UFC fighter to claim a brush with the unknown.
Georges St-Pierre UFO Discussion
Former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre (GSP) has long been vocal about his fascination with unexplained aerial phenomena. The retired Canadian, known for his strategic prowess in the octagon, recently reignited discussions by posting footage of what he believes to be a UFO on social media.
“If you are not aware of this topic, it is high time you learn more about it. UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) are now called UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) because these strange things have sometimes been detected not only in the air but also in the water by sophisticated military instruments. I’m really curious to know what it is, are you???”
This isn’t the first time GSP has addressed the subject. In a past interview, he revealed that he had seen a UFO while driving through New Mexico with several well-known athletes, including Ali Abdel Aziz. According to him, the object moved in a way he had never seen before. Despite all of them witnessing the same event, their descriptions of what transpired differed, leading him to ponder the limits of human perception.
“I’ve seen a UFO. However, I’m not qualified to define such an object, I’m not an astrophysicist. There were five people in the car, known athletes… we saw something in the sky while we were driving. We saw the thing move in a way I’d never seen, it lasted a few seconds. We said, ‘OMG, what was that?!’”
GSP has since appeared on the Lex Fridman podcast, where he further speculated on extraterrestrial intelligence and higher-dimensional realities.
Frankie Edgar Faces Backlash Over UFO Claims
Former UFC champion Frankie Edgar recently found himself at the center of controversy after recounting his own UFO experience. During an appearance on the *Champ and The Tramp* podcast, Edgar described seeing multiple unidentified flying objects while dining at Ocean’s restaurant near a bridge in New Jersey.
“We park and Rene’s like ‘oh my God, there’s one’ and we’re sitting there she’s filming it,” Edgar recounted. “I’m like ‘no no no’ then it gets over us. I’m like ‘oh yeah that’s definitely a drone.’ If it has a green light on it, it’s a drone. I know it has a red and a white light. Eight of them came in in less than an hour that we were sitting there.”
When Edgar shared his experience on social media, he was met with ridicule, with many attributing his claims to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative brain condition linked to head trauma.
“Yeah, okay bud, CTE, buddy, CTE!” Edgar vented about the responses. “I’m not arguing with dumb f*cking people. You can’t argue with dumb people. Because they’re too dumb to realize.”
New Jersey has seen a surge in drone sightings, with the FAA imposing temporary flight restrictions in certain areas. Whether Edgar’s sighting was an advanced drone or something truly unidentified remains an open question.
Diego Sanchez’s Shadow Banning Conspiracy After UFO Post
Diego Sanchez, one of the UFC’s most eccentric figures, has made multiple claims of extraterrestrial encounters. In 2022, he shared a video on Instagram of what he called a “glowing orb” in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
“FINALLY CAUGHT A VIDEO OF A GLOWING ORB UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT/ GOLDEN ANGEL. It makes you wonder—is the orb technology or possibly an angelic being glowing with God’s light? Will we ever know? It’s fun to speculate,” Sanchez wrote.
Shortly after posting, Sanchez claimed Instagram shadow-banned his account, leading to speculation that his content was being suppressed. This wasn’t his first time discussing UFOs. Back in 2020, he described another close encounter:
“I was doing energy work on my patio as a UFO flew right up on me.”
“I called for my daughter quick quick… she watched this thing hover only hundreds of feet away. Albuquerque is a trip, sightings are regular here.”
“But this s**t was contact tonight, it was obvious it was watching me.”
While Sanchez has long been known for his unconventional beliefs, his UFO claims remain consistent.
The Growing Connection Between UFC Stars and UFO Sightings
The phenomenon of UFO sightings isn’t limited to conspiracy theorists or science fiction enthusiasts. More and more elite-level athletes, including some of the toughest men in the UFC, are coming forward with strange experiences they can’t explain.
From Johnny Walker’s childhood sighting in Brazil to GSP’s intellectual musings on interdimensional life, and from Frankie Edgar’s frustration with skeptics to Diego Sanchez’s accusations of shadow banning, these fighters offer a wide spectrum of perspectives on UFOs.
While skeptics may dismiss these accounts, the increasing number of credible witnesses—ranging from professional athletes to military personnel—suggests that the topic of UAPs deserves serious discussion.
