UFC on ESPN+ 63: Mike Jackson gets first career win via DQ

Mike Jackson has done it again?

Jackson became famous after beating CM Punk via unanimous decision during the main event of UFC 225. However, after testing positive for pot, the American saw his victory over the WWE star overturned to a “no contest”.

Almost four years later, Jackson finally made an octagon return by facing Dean Barry on today’s UFC on ESPN+63.

Mike Jackson was declared the winner after Dean Barry was disqualified following two intentional fouls in the first round of their welterweight contest at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

During the fight, Mike Jackson got wheel-kicked right into his private parts. His reaction to the foul  might as well be the best reaction to a low blow in UFC history.

“Oh my God, a spinning kick to the d*ck!” Jackson yelled right beside a UFC microphone. “Ah, f*ck! Ahh, that motherf*cker!”

After several minutes of well deserved recovery time, the bout continued.

However, much to Jackson’s despair, his opponent was about to land another foul. Later in the round, Dean Barry landed a nasty eye poke that once stopped the action due to a foul.

During the doctor’s exam, Jackson expressed his discomfort with the eye-poke and stated that he could not continue.

“I don’t wanna fight with this eye,” Jackson told the commission doctor.

After being awarded the DQ win, Mike Jackson can finally state that he won a sanctioned UFC fight.

What’s next for his career? I don’t know… I don’t think anyone does.

However, what we do know is that Jackson will have a very tough time in the UFC considering his boss has publicly called him an idiot.
