In a wide-ranging interview on Jake Shields’ podcast, UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell made explosive claims about demonic forces controlling political leaders and other powerful figures.
Mitchell asserted that “Nancy Pelosi is a great example of a demon in the flesh. She’s straight from the pits of hell.” He went on to claim that many politicians and elites are “demons in the flesh” who are “trying to destroy this nation” and have “sold us out for a profit.”
The Arkansas native expressed his belief that child molestation and abuse by powerful figures is linked to “demonic favor,” stating “Satan exists” and such acts are used “as a currency for demonic activity.”
Mitchell also railed against what he sees as attacks on Christianity in America, saying the media and entertainment industries are subverting “Christianity” and pushing an anti-Christian agenda.
On domestic issues, Mitchell advocated for eliminating property taxes, loosening food regulations, and allowing unrestricted weed cultivation in his home state. He criticized the public education system as “anti-education” designed to indoctrinate rather than truly educate children.
The outspoken UFC star acknowledged his controversial views have likely cost him sponsorships and money, but said he’s not concerned, stating “I think family and friendship and being honorable to yourself goes much further in the long run.”
Mitchell, currently ranked 13th in the UFC’s featherweight division, said he hopes to return to competition in the coming months. He remains one of the most polarizing and outspoken personalities in MMA.
Bryce Mitchell’s Felt unwelcome and unappreciated as a top-ranked UFC star
UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell recently opened up about feeling unwelcome and unappreciated by the promotion, despite his top-15 ranking.
Speaking on Jake Shields’ podcast, Mitchell revealed he was denied tickets to the recent UFC event at the Sphere in Las Vegas, even after specifically requesting just one seat for himself.
“I asked for tickets and they were like ‘no, we’re out,'” Mitchell said. “I was like, you know what, I don’t feel very welcome.”
The Arkansas native, currently ranked #13 in the division, expressed frustration at the lack of recognition for his status as a top contender.
“They had one seat there, come on,” he remarked. “I didn’t ask to bring nobody, I just wanted me. I just wanted to be a fly on the wall.”
Mitchell viewed the snub as a sign he should spend time with friends instead, saying “That was God telling me look, go hang out with your friends, spend time with these people.”
The 29-year-old star hasn’t competed since a loss to Josh Emmett in December of 2023. While he confirmed a bout is in the works, no date or opponent has been announced.
Mitchell’s comments highlight the complex relationship between stars and promotions, even for established names in the rankings. As an outspoken personality willing to speak his mind, Mitchell seems prepared to continue voicing his opinions, regardless of potential consequences to his standing with the UFC.
