UFC Featherweight Bryce Mitchell says gay people are destined for eternal damnation

UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell has sparked controversy with recent Instagram comments suggesting that gay people are destined for eternal damnation.

Mitchell engaged in a heated exchange with verified Instagram user “jessinboots21” after posting content related to his religious beliefs.

When criticized for using the Bible to “hate people,” Mitchell responded: “i didnt hate anyone. u just cant handle the truth. if u love gay people so much dont worry theres a place God made to spend forever with em. i live by the Word and repent for my sins. u try to justify urs.”

In a separate post, Mitchell wrote: “Biblical truth hurts peoples feelins. child abuse hurts mine. kids need a father and a mother. i dont wanna hear ur excuses about anything. yall perverts stay away from the kids. if u cant make one cause of ur skewed decisions u shouldnt entrap other peoples kids. and its a shame its legal. its so gross. people hated Jesus cause they hate the truth.”

The comments from the Arkansas-born star have drawn significant attention on social media, with his posts receiving thousands of likes and hundreds of replies. While some followers appeared to support Mitchell’s stance, others criticized him for what they perceived as hateful rhetoric cloaked in religious language.

Mitchell previously backed out a karate combat event after the promotion mistakenly photoshopped out his cauliflower ear from the poster. Due to red hue of the lgiht on the poster, Mitchell believed the promotion tried to make him look ‘gay’ and dropped out without so much as a courtesy call.

This isn’t the first time Mitchell, known for his wrestling prowess in the octagon, has expressed controversial views. The 30-year-old has previously made headlines for his outspoken opinions on various social and political matters.

In a recent interview with The MMA Guru, UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell continued his streak of controversial historical claims, this time declaring his German heritage while making dubious statements about World War II.

Mitchell made a point to emphasize his ancestral background, stating: “I have German Heritage and I’m not afraid to talk about my German Heritage.”

The Arkansas native then proceeded to make questionable assertions about Adolf Hitler and World War II history. “I never said H*tler was perfect but I’m just telling you there is more to the history than what you learn in school,” Mitchell claimed. He added a peculiar criticism of H*tler’s military strategy: “H*tler did some dumb s*it. He invaded Russia in the winter. How dumb does it get?”

When The MMA Guru suggested that his decision-making was influenced by methamph*tamine use, Mitchell agreed, saying, “that was after the m*th.”

Invasion of the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa) began on June 22, 1941 – during summer, not winter.

In the same interview Mitchell claimed that space doesn’t exist and fired off a lot of vitriol at Elon Musk, whom Mitchell often compares to Satan.

“Everything that he touches is a lie, it’s a fabricated lie whether it’s his electric cars… our power grid can’t even support electric cars, his electric cars suck, they cost way too much and they do too little.”

The UFC has not yet commented on Mitchell’s social media activity. Mitchell currently holds a professional MMA record of 17-3 and has been with the UFC since 2019.
