UFC audience member goes viral for Rubik’s cube solving during UFC Austin

The recent UFC Austin event left fans buzzing with excitement as Arman Tsarukyan delivered a knockout blow to Beneil Dariush in the main event. Additionally, Jalin Turner showcased his prowess with a rapid victory over Bobby Green in the co-main event.

Amidst these exciting matchups, a spectator at ringside became an unexpected viral sensation during the Kelvin Gastelum vs Sean Brady matchup.

In a moment captured by cameras during the Gastelum vs. Brady welterweight bout, a woman was seen preoccupied with a Rubik’s cube. The amusing incident sparked a flurry of humorous reactions across social media platforms.

The woman has been identified as Heidi Dean Harris. She serves as the Director of International Distribution and Live Event Production for the UFC. Harris joined the organization in 2012 as a media management co-ordinator.

A number of fans commented on social media platforms regarding the incident. Some of them are as follows:

“She’s probably a judge. #MMATwitter #UFCAustin”

“I’d rather play Rubik’s cube then watch Sean Brady fight”

“I respect grappling and his is high level but he’s not even doing any damage. It’s boring. I expected Gastelum to have better TD defense though.”

“LMAOOO she said “boring ahh fight” 😭😭😭”

UFC Austin emerged as a monumental success for the organization, setting a new live gate record not only for the venue but also for any arena in the United States.

Remarkably, eight competitors were awarded Performance of the Night bonuses. This was in addition to a Fight of the Night bonus. A total of half a million dollars in bonuses was distributed by the UFC.

Arman Tsarukyan and Jalin Turner’s victories were highlights of the event. Also, Deiveson Figueiredo and Sean Brady won against Rob Font and Kelvin Gastelum, respectively.

Figueiredo’s impressive performance marked his bantamweight debut, and Gastelum made his return to welterweight after an eight-year hiatus.

Despite the viral distraction, Sean Brady secured victory with a third-round submission. After the match, Brady called out Ian Machado Garry for a bout if he won against Vicente Luque at UFC 296.
