Tyson Fury’s corner predicted Dillian Whyte KO

Tyson Fury’s trainer Sugar Hill Steward predicted that the former heavyweight champion would knock out Dillian Whyte in the recently released corner footage. He said Fury will finish Whyte with a right hand.

Tyson Fury had his last boxing match against fellow British boxer Dillian Whyte on April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London. ‘The Gypsy King’ delivered a heavy right uppercut that grazed Whyte’s face. Whyte immediately lost balance and was half-conscious. He tried to continue the fight but could barely stand and the referee called the fight, announcing Fury as the winner.

Fury subsequently announced retirement but many side eye the claim.

Fury’s finishing move was in accordance with what Steward predicted. Recently, a corner cam of Fury vs Whyte match was released. In the footage, Steward can be seen advising Fury to focus on his right hand.

“Big shots down the middle, just taking your time because he is going to fall right into it. That shot you threw hurt him, it woke his a** up.” Steward said.

Fury responded “The right hand?” and his trainer answered “Of course.”

Sugar Hill Steward was appointed as Fury’s trainer after the 33-year-old parted ways with his former trainer Ben Davidson in late 2019.

Following the match, Tyson Fury announced his retirement. However, many still believe that Fury will return to the ring in the future for some big fights. Fury hasn’t fought some phenomenal heavyweight boxers such as Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

Last week Tyson Fury uploaded a video of him shadowboxing while he was in France. This leads his fans into thinking that he will return to the ring.

However, Fury has denied the assumption by saying that he was just doing his daily training. “Yes, training daily, but just to keep my weight down and for my mental health.” Fury said on Instagram.
