Tito Ortiz gloats over Chael Sonnen’s legal problems

An old rivalry between Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen has seemingly resurfaced. Ortiz aka ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ took a shoot at Sonnen who’s currently facing a number of legal issues.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion threw the jabs at Sonnen  during a recorded live session on his Instagram account.

In the live session, he said that the old rival Sonnen is going to be “one of the first transgender fighters” and will be “the new heavyweight champion in the women’s division”.

“Yes, so I heard actually Chael is gonna be one of the first transgender fighters, that’s what I heard,” said Ortiz on the live session. “So much respect, 100% for sure, for his team to be able to do it, I may see a new heavyweight champion, in the women’s division.”

“I got a laugh myself it was kinda fun,” he continued with a smile after throwing the slanders at Sonnen.

To end the diss, Ortiz has one last thing for Sonnen.

“They say, F.W.P, baby, f**k that p*to.” said Ortiz.

Both Ortiz and Sonnen were involved in a heated rivalry during their MMA days.

Despite making their names in the UFC, the two were never matched against each other in the promotion.

Ortiz briefly retired after losing against Forrest Griffin in 2012, but he came out of retirement in the following year under the Bellator banner.

Sonnen, parted ways with the UFC in 2014, but then signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator in 2016 – his promotional debut was set against Ortiz.

“Tito always says I’m using my mouth to get my opportunities, the only person that I know that made money using their mouth is his ex-wife.”

The actual match, was not as exciting as the buildup as Ortiz submitted Sonnen in the first round.

This didn’t end their rivalry either – Sonnen repeatedly poked fun at Tito since. And Ortiz has been salty about the experience in the past as well.
