The Man Who Popularized Theory that the British Royals Are Reptilians Now Claims Joe Rogan Won’t Talk to Him

During a recent appearance on Jake Shields’ podcast, writer David Icke addressed his longstanding exclusion from major alternative media platforms, particularly Joe Rogan’s show.

The conversation came after Icke posted on X about what he described as a “strange experience” involving an alleged invitation and subsequent withdrawal from The Joe Rogan Experience.

According to Icke’s account, someone identifying as Rogan’s guest booker contacted him to finally appear on the show “after all these years.” The initial invitation appeared legitimate, with correspondence beginning about dates, flights, and visa entry. However, just two days later, the same person withdrew the invitation, citing “unanticipated longer-term scheduling changes.”

“Or did they really ask me and then immediately pull when I said yes? Given the ongoing silence from the email involved we can’t yet say for sure.”

On the podcast, Icke elaborated on his theory about why mainstream alternative media figures refuse to interview him.

“Some of these major podcasters who have basically become the center of the alternative media since (2020) particularly, they won’t talk to me like Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan.”

Shields acknowledged the pattern.

“Seems like everyone’s avoiding you it seems like which is weird because you’re such a massive name.”

Icke offered an explanation rooted in his broader worldview.

“I would say that it’s because I’m operating way beyond this. It’s the political level and that’s all it is.”

According to Icke, there’s an effort to control the alternative media narrative by keeping discussions focused only on political and corporate corruption rather than deeper subjects.

“It’s not necessarily that even people like Rogan or Carlson know what they’re doing in terms of the real reason they’re not having me on.”

Icke suggested the exclusion may result from external pressure rather than personal decisions by the hosts themselves.

This highlighted Icke’s belief that alternative media has been compromised to hold audiences at what he calls “the playout level,” preventing them from exploring what he considers deeper truths about reality and control systems.

David Icke played a central role in the 2020–2021 London Real “Digital Freedom Platform” fundraising campaign, which was launched after YouTube removed his interviews with host Brian Rose.

Following the viral takedown of Icke’s content, London Real framed him as a symbol of censorship and used his planned follow‑up livestream as the emotional and political centerpiece of a crowdfunding push that ultimately raised over $1 million.

The campaign claimed funds were needed to build an independent streaming platform, finance legal action against YouTube, and host further Icke interviews, with early fundraising targets (including $100,000 just to stream Icke) rapidly expanded. Investigative YouTuber Coffeezilla later scrutinized the campaign, questioning whether the technical costs and infrastructure claims were inflated, and finding evidence that London Real relied on third‑party streaming services rather than building a truly independent platform. Coffeezilla’s reporting argued that Icke’s notoriety and censorship narrative were instrumental in driving donations, while raising concerns about misleading marketing, opaque spending, and exaggerated platform claims.

However the radio silence from Rogan and Carlson seems to indicate that an Icke interview still might be too hard to monetize in 2026.
