Thai promotion offers a special fee to Francis Ngannou if he were to ‘throw midgets’ on their behalf

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou got offered a hilarious contract by Thailand’s stunt promotion. ‘The Predator’ was offered to throw a midget for $50,000.

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is no longer with the UFC and has been stripped off of his title after a failed contract negotiation. UFC president Dana White said that Ngannou was freed from his contract after rejecting an $8 million offer that would have made him the highest-paid heavyweight of all time.

During an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the Cameroonian detailed the contract that the UFC proposed to him.

“It was a multi-fight deal. It was for three fights. They said they would give that exception to me. No extension.” Ngannou said.

Ngannou didn’t find it to be intriguing at all. The 36-year-old also made several requests that he hoped the UFC would grant at least one.

“I asked for a lot of things, which doesn’t mean I was expecting all those things. I was expecting at least one or two of those things. I asked for the right of a sponsorship, which we’ve been ripped off. We can’t have sponsorship. I asked for health insurance. Couldn’t have. I asked for a fighter advocate, somebody in the board meeting who will advocate for the fighters. I asked for that. I couldn’t have those stuff that I asked for. I just wanted to know that there is something that I do want. I also wanted them to think that, at least in consideration.” Ngannou explained.

With his departure, Francis Ngannou is now a free agent. He is likely to box two-time world champion Tyson Fury in the future, but there is no confirmation as of yet. Meanwhile, a lot of other MMA promotions have reached out to him offering him a deal.

Recently, a Thailand stunt show also jokingly offered a deal to Ngannou. ‘Fight Circus’ has a plan to use Ngannou’s immense strength for something else.

“We will offer Francis 50k to throw midgets.” They wrote on Twitter.

Some fans also weighed in on the joke, writing “Sign me up as one of the midgets” while another one suggested another deal, “Make him fight 7 FLWs at the same time while dressed as Snow White.”
