Sean Strickland reveals criminal record, gets firearms back after 3 years

The UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland celebrated the return of his firearms and ammunition. The 31-year-old revealed that the US Department of Justice has finally returned his gun after 3 years.

Sean Strickland took to his Twitter account to share the news and he couldn’t help but wrote in excitement.

“It’s my GUN BIRTHDAY!!!!! [The] DOJ is giving me back my guns and ammo… 3 years later… HAPPY DAYS!!!” Strickland wrote.

Later on one of Strickland’s followers asked him about why the firearms were confiscated. The former King of The Cage middleweight champion said that he had legal trouble back then when he lived in California. However, the incident didn’t involve any firearms.

‘Tarzan’ explained that he once had a scuffle and punched two people. He explained further that even if he was involved in a violent crime without guns, the authorities would still ban him from owning a gun for 10 years.

“Convicted of violent crimes using a deadly weapon. What was the deadly weapon you ask? Nothing. I hit two people once lmao. In California violent crimes or felony wobbles ban you from owning a gun for 10 years. no f*cking clue until they reminded me [of] the 8th year. I live in NV now.” Strickland wrote.

Recently, Sean Strickland had an online altercation with the UFC light heavyweight contender Jan Blachowicz. Strickland is well known for being kind of controversial on Twitter. Previously, he posted a series of tweets suggesting Ukraine surrender to Russia. Strickland highly believes that there is no way Ukraine could win the war. Not by themselves.

“Ukraine should just bend the knee and become Russian… I understand it sucks and yes you could win….. but do you really want to be the new Afghanistan for the next 30 years??? Not saying it’s right but this hard pill to swallow will be better in the end.” Strickland wrote in one of the tweets.

Reading this, Jan Blachowicz decided to respond.

“Would you? It is easy to give away someone else’s independence… The history of the Eastern European region is full of struggle and suffering. Ukraine – as a country and as a people – has endured much. Their resistance is understandable and admirable. Freedom!” Blachowicz wrote.

Though he was kind of weird on social media, Sean Strickland has quite the skill inside the octagon. He is currently on a 6th win streak after beating Jack Hermansson last month, making him on the number 4 on the UFC middleweight rankings. He has called out the reigning middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and even made fun of Adesanya’s tits.
