In the aftermath of Bryce Mitchell’s controversial remarks, UFC veteran Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and podcast host Bear Degidio took the opportunity to confront Mitchell directly on the “Jaxxon Podcast.” However, following the intense discussion, the episode was swiftly taken down, leaving fans speculating about the reasoning behind its removal.
Mitchell’s Controversial Remarks and UFC’s Response
Bryce Mitchell found himself at the center of a media firestorm after comments he made about a historical N*zi leader. The backlash was immediate, with UFC President Dana White publicly denouncing the remarks. As the controversy unfolded, Mitchell sought to clarify his statements on the “Jaxxon Podcast,” only to be met with strong opposition from the hosts.
“I wish I didn’t have to talk about it at all,” Mitchell stated on the show. He then attempted to explain his words, insisting, “First things first, I said word for word I do not support, I am not a N*zi. I said it word for word, you can go back and watch it.” However, his attempts to contextualize his remarks were cut short by Degidio, who firmly rejected any further discussion.
‘Explanation’
In an attempt to curb backlash Mitchell claimed he was taken out of context, and that he was praising the German leader’s personality prior to the atrocities comitted – which is even more baffling. And while Mitchell’s podcast can no longer be seen online, there are livestreams watching the podcast that live on and in them – Mitchell does not agree that the Holocaust even happened.
Degidio and Rampage Jackson Take a Firm Stance
Host Degidio and co-host Rampage Jackson made it clear they would not allow any justification of Mitchell’s statements. Degidio explicitly stated, “Those extremist ideologies, the things he did to millions of people, are some of the most disgusting, most evil things the world has ever seen.”
Rampage Jackson, who revealed that his full-time chef is Jewish, admitted that he and Degidio had booked Mitchell before his controversial comments surfaced. According to Jackson, they still proceeded with the episode to confront Mitchell face-to-face about the gravity of his words.

Degidio emphasized the broader societal impact of such statements, stating, “What you did damages people’s relationships with their family over arguments, damages society, wasting time on things they shouldn’t be talking about. We should be coming together as a world.”
Mitchell Acknowledges His Mistake
While Mitchell stood by his claim that his words had been taken out of context, he ultimately admitted, “I shouldn’t have said it in the first place.” This marked a moment of reflection, as he acknowledged how his statements had been received by the public.
Notably, Mitchell also revealed that the incident occurred during his first-ever podcast episode, highlighting the risks that come with stepping into the media spotlight without fully grasping the weight of one’s words.
Rampage’s Post-Podcast Comments and Episode Removal
Shortly after the podcast aired, Rampage Jackson took to social media to address the situation. In a tweet, he wrote:
“To all the people that don’t understand why Bear and I talked to Bryce Mitchell the way we did, it’s pointless to try to explain it. He has a family and a career, some things are better off unsaid on air 😉 the rest of you are smart af 🫡.”
When a fan praised him and Degidio for guiding the younger fighter, Rampage responded:
“You’re one of the smart ones, y’all know I say and do some f—ed up sht 😂 we just want the young buck to be careful not to say some sht that he can’t come back from. The world is soft now. As soon as he says something y’all don’t like y’all gonna turn on him and scream CTE 🤷🏽♂️.”
Despite the direct confrontation, the podcast episode was eventually taken down. Whether this was due to pressure from external parties or an internal decision remains unclear. However, the incident serves as yet another reminder of how quickly words can spiral into controversy in the modern media landscape.
