UFC legend Quinton Rampage Jackson has announced that his son Raja Jackson has been reinstated on Kick, paving the way for the 25 year old’s return to content creation following a six month absence.
The news comes after Jackson publicly lobbied for his son’s return to the platform in recent weeks.
“Bring Raja back on Kick button”
the former UFC champion wrote on X in response to one of the platform’s posts, drawing over 500 likes from supporters.
In a recently surfaced video, the father and son discuss the unbanning and their plans moving forward.
“You heard the news?”
“Yup. You got unbanned, I know, let’s go!”
The elder Jackson quickly offered words of caution.
“Hey, don’t mess up no more. We don’t want to keep getting banned.”
Raja acknowledged the warning before his father proposed they begin broadcasting together as soon as the next day.
“Alright son, I’m going to see you tomorrow, you want to (Â ) tomorrow?”
“Yeah, yeah, whenever, yeah.”
The conversation revealed some concerns about managing the return, with Rampage suggesting they might need to disable chat features initially.
“We probably got to keep, cut your chat off though, because some, you know, I don’t know how this is going to work.”
Raja appeared unfazed by potential criticism.
“I don’t care what they say, I really don’t, I can’t listen.”
The younger Jackson’s ban from Kick stemmed from an August 2025 incident at KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy in Los Angeles.
According to reports, Raja entered the ring during a professional wrestling event and attacked wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, delivering more than 20 strikes that continued after Smith lost consciousness. The assault left Smith with severe injuries including facial fractures, broken teeth and multiple jaw injuries requiring immediate hospitalization.
Law enforcement arrested Raja after the incident. He currently faces one count of felony battery causing serious bodily injury and one count of misdemeanor battery. Released on $50000 bond, he has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Prosecutors are seeking sentencing enhancements that could carry up to seven years in prison if convicted.
Before his unban, Rampage had been actively working to help his son rebuild his public presence. During a conversation with content creator N3ON, the UFC veteran revealed his intentions for Raja’s return.
“I want to get my son Raja back on there.”
When N3ON offered Raja the first spot on his platform, Jackson acknowledged the obstacle at that time.
“We can’t do it on Kick.”
The reinstatement comes as Raja’s legal situation remains unresolved. Former WWE star and Harvard Law graduate David Otunga provided analysis of the case on The Ariel Helwani Show, suggesting Jackson could potentially avoid criminal prosecution depending on Smith’s cooperation with authorities.
“He really could just take a plea bargain and possibly avoid time altogether.”
Otunga disclosed information that could dramatically impact the outcome.
“I’ve also been hearing, talked to a few people and this is rumors as far as I know, but they were saying that Syko Stu isn’t really looking to press charges.”
The attorney turned wrestler emphasized the importance of witness cooperation.
“If he doesn’t cooperate with the police, I mean, that makes it really tough to prosecute Raja. It really does. So it kind of hinges on him if he wants to be the star witness or not.”
Raja’s professional MMA career has struggled to gain traction. He holds a 0-1 record in professional competition, with his last appearance in the cage coming in 2023. Since then, he has largely traded on his father’s fame while attempting to establish his own identity in combat sports.
