Misfits ready to start doing Influencer MMA matches in between boxing bouts

In 2023, Misfits Boxing inked a long-term partnership deal with DAZN Boxing. This set the stage for a monumental collaboration spanning the next five years.

Since the inception of this alliance, the landscape of influencer boxing events has experienced an unprecedented surge in attention and enthusiasm. Events like the popular Prime Card have seized the spotlight, drawing huge audiences as internet sensations clash within the ring.

The bout between KSI and Tommy Fury coupled with the much-anticipated showdown between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis during the co-main event amassed millions in pay-per-view buys.

The enthusiasm surrounding influencer boxing matches has sparked a fervent interest among both combatants and audiences to venture into MMA. Eminent personalities such as Jake Paul have set their sights on future engagements within the octagon.

It seems that the day when influencers compete in mixed martial arts will not be too long. Although Jake Paul has already committed to making his MMA debut with the PFL, KSI’s Misfits Boxing intends to “sprinkle” MMA bouts throughout their boxing events.

In a recent interview conducted on November 12 with Fred Beck, KSI’s manager and Misfits President Mams Taylor disclosed the organization’s intent to incorporate MMA matches into their upcoming events.

Mams stated: “There will be some MMA sprinkled onto our cards.”

Additionally, he hinted at the possibility of expanding their MMA endeavors if the initial response proves favorable. He continued: “Let’s see how it goes. If it goes well, and people are excited about it, then maybe there’s more to come.”

However, specifics regarding the integration of MMA bouts into their cards remain undisclosed. The Misfits President opted to keep these details under wraps for the time being.

However, there is room to see a few mixed martial arts bouts since an event is planned to take place every month all throughout 2024.
