Mike Tyson Denies Jake Paul Boxing Event Reports

Yesterday a report surfaced in The Sun that the 25 year old youtuber Jake Paul would be boxing former world champion and one of the greatest boxers of all time – Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson has expressed his interest in returning to the boxing ring for a big money fight. Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have a 30 years age gap between them. At the age of 55 years old, ‘Iron’ Mike showed a pretty incredible speed and hitting power when he came out of retirement in 2020 for an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr.

Tyson first talked about the possibility of boxing a Paul brother back in October on his podcast.

The whole idea originated on the Mike Tyson boxing when the heavyweight legend addressed the idea of matching either brother.

“Hell yeah,” he said on his “Hotboxin’” podcast, according to Complex. “That would be a lot of money.”

Logan Paul famously boxed Floyd Mayweather recently in an exhibition – bout ended with no winner after the end of eight rounds.

Guest Freddie Gibbs told Tyson he was “sick of seeing of all these Jake Paul fights and all that type of shit.”

“Well, that’s the money fight,” Tyson replied. “Those are the fights that make the money. Those guys have 75 million people watching them.”

When Freddie Gibbs questioned if the Logans would accept Tyson was clear:

“He might. 100 million bucks they’ll do anything. ”

However this report of a $50 million bout  between the two is nonexistent! Tyson took to his own social media to deny reports.

One of the best replies to the reports came from a fan answering this tweet.

Tyson has been biding his time podcasting and promoting non fungible tokens on his social media in the mean time.

Iron Mike appears to be one of the promoters of Solana crypto currency. Tyson also shared a very revealing tweet back in December.
