Florida Attorney General confirms he’s opened criminal investigation of Tate brothers

Florida’s Attorney General James Uthmeier has confirmed the launch of a criminal investigation into Andrew and Tristan Tate, marking a significant escalation in legal scrutiny of the controversial social media influencers within the United States.

The investigation comes as authorities have secured and executed multiple subpoenas and warrants related to the Tate brothers’ activities in Florida.

“These guys have themselves publicly admitted to participating in what very much appears to be soliciting, trafficking, preying upon women around the world,” Uthmeier stated. “Many of these victims coming forward, some of them minors.”

The Attorney General emphasized Florida’s stance on such allegations, stating, “In Florida, this type of behavior is viewed as atrocious. We’re not going to accept it. They chose to come here and set their feet down in this state.”

While specific details of the investigation remain confidential, Uthmeier was clear about the state’s commitment to pursuing the case. “We’re going to continue to move forward with full force of law,” he said. “We’re going to use every tool we have to ensure that justice is served.”

When pressed for additional details about the investigation, Uthmeier maintained professional discretion, stating, “I can’t comment on a pending investigation. But what I can tell you is, if these guys did criminal activity here in Florida, we will go after them with the full force of law and hold them accountable.”

This development adds to the mounting legal challenges faced by the Tate brothers, who have already garnered significant attention from law enforcement agencies internationally. The Florida investigation represents a new front in the ongoing scrutiny of their activities.
