Eddie Hall nearly bled to death after dropping weights on his genitals

Former winner of  World’s strongest man competition, Eddie Hall, recently revealed a terrible accident he underwent while weight lifting. The 34-year-old accidentally dropped weight lifting equipment on his crotch. He said this horrific accident almost took his life.

Eddie Hall recalled the accident and explained it in detail during his appearance on Mirror. He said he was training his leg on a leg-press machine when suddenly the weights fell right on his manhood. The injury was so bad he almost bled to death.

“I piled a load of heavy weights on a leg-press machine and then heard a loud thud. It had come crashing down and the weights had landed on my penis. I nearly bled to death.” Hall said.

As a former professional strongman, Eddie Hall has had many accidents. However, most of them can’t even compare to this one. Hall admitted that this was the worst accident he ever had in his life. ‘The Beast’ handled the situation and was still strong enough to drive himself to the hospital to get medical treatment.

“It was bad. The worst ever. I didn’t cry for help though. I just lifted them off, drove myself to the hospital and got stitched up. I was back training soon enough.” Hall said.

Eddie Hall is the winner of the 2017 World’s Strongest Man competition. Due to health problems, Hall chose to retire and decided to return to lower-weight competitions. Right now, Eddie Hall is preparing for his boxing debut against fellow former World’s Strongest Man Thor Bjornsson. The fight will be held at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium today.

The two had a bit of an altercation at their press conference. Unlike Eddie Hall, his rival Thor Bjornsson had some experience inside the ring. The 33-year-old Icelandic strongmen has boxed 3 times in exhibition boxing matches against Simon Vallily and professional arm wrestler Devon Larratt.
