Dana White Shreds Jake Paul for Claressa Shields Comments

Claressa Shields has never been defeated in boxing. To date she’s the only boxer in history, female or male, to hold all four major world titles in boxing—WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO—simultaneously, in two weight classes. But she’s still struggling to get paid. According to reports Shields was told there was skepticism about her headlining a card on Showtime.

This prompted Shields to get more radical and talk a bit about Jake Paul. Claressa Shields says she would spar or fight Jake Paul. “I would destroy him. It’s no disrespect, I’m just a skilled boxer…just because I’m a woman, don’t get it trippin.”

However Shields fell short at her latest outing at PFL.

This in turn invited Paul to make some disparaging comments about Shields.

But now Dana White is ready to side with Shields, and in spite of his union busting, he has some valid points:

“He better be careful, she might knock him out,” White told MMA Fighting’s Jose Youngs. “… So Jake Paul calls Claressa Shields a loser? Claressa Shields is nothing but a winner who actually fought real people in her weight class in her own age in her own sport and then goes over to MMA and tries to win a world title. That’s not a loser, that’s a winner, okay?

“When are you gonna start fighting somebody your own f*cking age, your own weight, that actually fights in your own f*cking sport that you’re claiming you’re in? Shut the f*ck up, you goofball. For you to call Claressa Shields a loser is f*cking unbelievable.”
