Seems like UFC president Dana White is eager to distance himself from the ‘woke’ label. In spite of all of MMA world being eager to see Rogan brace their screens once again – Rogan was MIA . Yet he still watched the event.
Which only further sparked the rumors of ESPN/Disney wanting to distance themselves. The infamously anti woke crowd of the UFC isn’t taking too kindly to ESPN / Disney tactics and has been chanting sporadically their support for the comedian.
Jake Paul ripped the decision to abandon longtime commentator:

Meanwhile Dana White made it clear he had nothing to do with Rogan’s absence saying:
“There’s no conflict of schedule. Joe Rogan didn’t work tonight. Joe Rogan could’ve worked tonight… I don’t know what Joe Rogan had to do, you guys will have to ask Joe Rogan,” White told reports.
“There was no ‘Joe couldn’t work’ or anything like that. I know that came out, and it’s total bullshit.”
“Whenever he’s gonna work again, he’ll be working.”
