Another UFC Star Teases Collab with world’s worst self defense coach

Detroit Urban Survival Training commander Dale Brown has gained notoriety among the MMA fans and fighters for a series of questionable ‘self-defense’ videos.

Brown appears to have turned a corner having cornered UFC middleweight Joaquin Buckley to victory at UFC Vegas 48. Buckley was matched up against another crowd-favorite fighter Abdul Razak Alhassan and went the distance in a three-round war that saw him winning a split decision victory.

Apparently another fighter on the UFC roster was impressed and is now interested in hiring Brown.

“When I realized the UFC wasn’t promoting like it should, they probably promoted well at the end, but I made sure that all the eyes, you see, I got my man right here. Come here, Dale, come here. That’s why I brought this man in here, to help promote this fight. I probably never had as many people watching this fight. We got DJ Khaled out there, Snoop Dogg, all the celebrities watching both kings in here. Both KO artists go to f***ing war and show that we can go three rounds,” Buckley said after the fight.

While Michael Bisping wasn’t really fond of the idea of validating Brown as a real coach, former title challenger Derek Brunson instead mentioned on Twitter that he wants to add Brown to his corner.

“Time to go streaking again. Corner set ?,” Derek Brunson wrote on Twitter.

“I need to add Dale Brown to my corner . #DetroitSurvival ??,” add Brunson on another Tweet.

Regardless of how you feel about Brown it’s good to see Brunson in good spirits following the devastating loss that led to his corner throwing in the towel for the first time in UFC history.

Brown himself was infamous for his ineffective self-defense videos that received various parodies and reactions from fans and fighters like Tai Tuivasa and Sean Strickland.

While Tuivasa jokingly asked Brown for a fight, Strickland took the challenge to another level saying that he’s a fraud and they could spar with real knives.
