The ongoing tension between Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh’s wife Jasleen has taken another turn, with Schulz appearing to fire back at her recent criticisms through a pointed social media post.
According to sources, Jasleen previously opened up about her difficult experience appearing on the Flagrant podcast in December, expressing deep regret about the episode. She described feeling uncomfortable and pressured during the taping, claiming she was not afforded the same latitude for edgy humor that the male hosts enjoyed.
According to Jasleen, jokes that crossed the line were acceptable when made by the men. But when she made similar comments, she faced intense scrutiny and was told her content was damaging the brand.
The situation escalated when Jasleen accused Schulz of taking advantage of her vulnerability for views. She recounted being told to go dark on social media for at least two weeks following online backlash, a decision she now regrets after discussing it with her therapist. Jasleen felt she was being controlled and manipulated, forced to discuss topics she was uncomfortable with while being denied the opportunity to edit content she wanted removed.
In a pointed comment at the end of her video statement, Jasleen took a swipe at Schulz, sarcastically congratulating him on achieving a million views and expressing doubt he could replicate that success without her involvement.
Schulz’s response came just three days later. He posted on social media, “Thank you [ ] army for another milly,” circling the million-view count on a YouTube video. The timing and wording made it clear he was directly addressing Jasleen’s challenge about his ability to generate views without her.
The fallout from this situation has had significant consequences for Akaash Singh’s career. Since leaving the Flagrant podcast, his ticket sales have reportedly plummeted.
Tickets that once sold for over $100 are now priced at $35, and he’s struggling to sell out venues like the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. This stands in contrast to his previous success, including a sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall.
