Paddy Pimblett shows off a remarkable body transformation

Fans have been left in awe of Paddy Pimblett’s latest body transformation ahead of his upcoming fight at UFC 304. The former Cage Warriors champion, who is set to take on perennial lightweight contender Bobby ‘King’ Green, has once again showcased his incredible ability to shred down to the 156lbs limit after enjoying the spoils of victory.

Just weeks after making the weight for his last fight, where he secured the biggest win of his career by defeating Tony Ferguson, photos emerged of Pimblett having gained a significant amount of weight. However, with his first bout against a ranked opponent in the UFC fast approaching, the 29-year-old has now shared a picture from his final training session, revealing his shredded physique.

The Liverpudlian has developed a reputation for his drastic weight fluctuations between fights, with fans taking to social media to share their views on his astonishing transformation.

“If sheer willpower was a person,” wrote one admirer, while another joked, “Bro I be so confused like is this the same guy?”

A third fan added, “Makes life so much harder for himself but is what it is man he loves his grub. He makes it work I guess.”

However, not everyone was convinced that Pimblett’s approach is sustainable in the long run, with one commenter claiming, “This will come back to haunt him in the long run…Paddy needs to learn how to be professional and stay in somewhat of shape year-round.”

Pimblett, who has previously faced criticism for his habit of gaining weight in between fights, has insisted that he would rather prioritize how he feels over being “ripped” all year round.

“I’d rather be fat and happy than ripped,” he said. “These people who are ripped all year round are not happy, I don’t care what they say.”

Pimblett will be joined on the UFC 304 card in Manchester by fellow Next Generation MMA fighter and Cage Warriors alum Molly McCann, who will be looking to continue her perfect start to life at 115lbs when she takes on Brunsa Brasil.

The pair have recently been featured in a new BBC documentary – Paddy and Molly: No Mersey, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at their lives as they prepared for their upcoming fights.
