Abdu Rozik, the three-foot tall social media sensation, is gearing up for his upcoming boxing debut, and he has some remarkable news to share. The 20-year-old Tajikistan native, who is now based in the United Arab Emirates, claims that his hard work in the ring has not only transformed his physique but has also contributed to an increase in his height.
Rozik, who will be taking on his long-term rival Erali Boyqobilov as part of the Social Knockout 3 bill in Dubai, recently took to Instagram to share his remarkable journey. In the video, he revealed that before coming to Dubai, he was only 97cm tall, but now, after dedicating himself to boxing, he has grown to an impressive 115cm.
“No guys! Before I came to Dubai I was 97cm. Now [I am] 115cm, because I’m doing boxing. I am training,” Rozik explained. “Boxing made my bones bigger and boxing means I am feeling [like] a man.”
The young athlete’s transformation has been nothing short of inspiring. He has been working tirelessly to defy the limitations often associated with his condition, dwarfism, and prove that he can achieve his dreams just like anyone else.
“Please guys, so many people are not giving their own children a chance to make their dream come true,” Rozik pleaded. “Please give them a chance, they can do it. They want to show the whole world they are human beings.”
Rozik’s message of inclusivity and empowerment resonates strongly, as he continues to challenge the preconceptions that often limit the opportunities available to individuals with disabilities. His journey has not been an easy one, but his determination and resilience are truly awe-inspiring.
And well if Rozik feels bad about the influx of concerned comments he should consider the fact that a UFC veteran Darren Till is on his undercard. Whether this is a testament to Rozik’s fame or Till’s downfall remains to be seen.
