UFC Parent Company Allegedly Offered $400M Deal To Anthony Joshua

TKO/Zuffa Boxing reportedly put a three-bout package worth $400 million in front of Anthony Joshua. According to sources, the offer landed in the first quarter of 2026 and was spearheaded by Dana White alongside TKO President Nick Khan. The approach was made without Matchroom’s knowledge at the start of the year.

Joshua’s response was immediate and final. He turned the offer down without entering any negotiations and he reportedly looped in his longtime promoter Eddie Hearn about what had happened.

Hearn had already acknowledged publicly that an approach had been made, though the scale of it, a $400 million figure with specific deal terms attached, had never been confirmed.

The loyalty angle here is hard to miss. Joshua put pen to paper on a career-long promotional agreement with Matchroom back in September 2021, a deal that has anchored his career ever since. Walking away from that relationship for a nine-figure payday from a rival operation would have been a seismic move in the sport.

Financially, Joshua was never exactly hurting for options to begin with. His net worth has been pegged at £240 million ($320 million), based on valuations carried out between November 2025 and April 24, 2026, and that fortune was enough to land him eighth on the Sunday Times Rich List.

Joshua has fielded plenty of outside interest from businesses and sponsors over the years, but this particular offer is described as unlike anything else that’s come his way.

There’s also a second, separate figure floating around that has nothing to do with TKO or Zuffa. Reports indicate Joshua was offered an additional £10 million to commit to a Madison Square Garden showdown against Tyson Fury.

Speaking of that match, Dana White has already put a price tag on what fans should expect from Fury vs. Joshua itself. He projected a gate of $34 million, a number that if it holds would slot the bout in as the fourth-largest gate in the sport’s history. It would trail behind only Mayweather-Pacquiao at $72.2 million, Mayweather-McGregor at $55.4 million, and Canelo-Crawford at $47.2 million.

Zuffa Boxing (the joint venture between White and Saudi power broker Turki Alalshik), has been busy building out its roster regardless of how the Joshua pursuit shakes out. Sources state that Conor Benn put his name on a new multi-bout agreement with the promotion on Friday, April 17, 2026, deepening a partnership that began almost by accident. Benn had signed just a one-bout deal with Zuffa back in February 2026 after an unexpected split from Hearn’s Matchroom, a departure Hearn says he learned about through an email rather than a phone call.

That first outing paid off for Benn in a big way. He reportedly pocketed £11.19 million ($15 million) for a unanimous decision win over Regis Prograis in a catchweight bout fought at 150 lbs (68 kg) in Tottenham on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

White for his part confirmed the expanded agreement himself, noting it builds on Benn’s original one-bout contract and that the promotion is glad to have him under a longer-term arrangement. The son of former world champion Nigel Benn, Conor now has a path that could lead to a clash with WBC welterweight titleholder Ryan Garcia.
