Bert Kreischer let slip personal details about Tom Segura’s divorce on a recent podcast episode, revealing that Segura has been quietly offloading major assets, including his plane, his watch collection, several cars, and other luxury items.
The admission came up when Kreischer asked Segura if he’d ever taken flying lessons. Segura said no, he had no desire.
Kreischer then revealed, “Tom, well, he when he had money, he started, and now he had to stop. He had to sell his plane.”
When pushed further about whether Segura held some kind of sale for everything, Kreischer hesitated, saying, “Can I tell you? I, so, like, I didn’t know. I mean, I’m not supposed to talk about this.”
Kreischer continued anyway, explaining that he first sensed something was wrong when Segura started selling off his watch collection. “Canary in the mind was when he started selling all his watches,” Kreischer said, adding, “You have some of the hardest get watches in the world. Why would you sell them?”
From there, the situation apparently escalated to vehicles. Kreischer recalled getting a call from Segura offering to sell him a truck.
“And then he called me, he was like, you want to buy this truck of mine? And I was like, what? And then he was like, you know, I’m just downsizing. And I was like, that’s not the guy I know.”
Kreischer pointed out that this was a stark shift for Segura, who once dug out his garage specifically to fit nine cars, with even more spilling out beyond that. “And then I go, downsizing? I should have known,” Kreischer said.
The timing of these revelations is notable given how Segura had previously framed his decision to part with his possessions earlier this year. At the time, Segura discussed on the podcast how material things in his life weren’t bringing him happiness anymore, presenting the sell-off of jackets, cars, and watches as a personal choice to simplify his life.
Kreischer’s comments now suggest that narrative coincided with Segura’s divorce, rather than existing independently of it.
Segura did not confirm or deny any of the specifics in the moment, and he has not addressed the comments publicly since.
