UFC star Bryce Mitchell has ignited controversy with his latest episode of “ArkanSanity,” delivering an unfiltered critique of America’s public education system and calling on Christian parents to remove their children from government-run schools immediately.
In the fourth episode of his podcast, Mitchell declared that public schools represent a fundamental threat to Christian families. “If you’re a Christian, you cannot allow your kids to go into these facilities,” Mitchell stated. “I would rather shoot somebody and kill them dead than to have my son go into that room with those perverts.”
The Arkansas native, who openly discusses homeschooling his own child, argues that the public education system has become what he describes as an “Orwellian” institution that operates contrary to its stated purpose.
Drawing parallels to George Orwell’s “1984,” Mitchell contends that America’s education program functions as a “deducation program” designed to undermine traditional Christian values.
Mitchell grounded his position in scripture, citing Genesis 1:28 and Deuteronomy 6:7 to emphasize parental responsibility for teaching children. “As a parent, that is your job,” he explained, referencing the biblical mandate for parents to instruct their children throughout daily life. He pointed to America’s agrarian Christian heritage as the foundation that built the nation, contrasting it sharply with what he views as today’s corrupted institutional systems.
Mitchell’s concerns extend beyond educational philosophy to what he perceives as anti-Christian messaging in public schools. “They’re going to tell your kid anti-science. They’re going to tell your kid, ‘You come from a monkey. You have no soul,'” Mitchell argued, framing the issue as incompatible with Christian beliefs about human creation and divine purpose.
Mitchell acknowledged the practical challenges of homeschooling, particularly for working parents, but maintained his uncompromising stance. “I know people are going to be working their job. They’re going to say they don’t have time to do it. I’m just going to tell you personally, I would make time,” he said. “My kid will never be taught by nobody but us.”
He also observed that wealthy families and billionaires typically avoid public schools in favor of private education or homeschooling, suggesting that those with resources understand the limitations of government-run education. “The point is, they’re not putting them in public schools,” Mitchell noted.
Alongside his criticism of public schools, Mitchell urged parents to avoid vaccines, which he ranked as his top two recommendations for protecting families in modern America. “If you can avoid vaccines in public schools, I’m telling you that is 99% of the problem with what’s going on,” he stated.
Mitchell’s comments arrive amid ongoing national debates about parental rights, curriculum content, and the role of government in education.
The UFC star’s message resonated with a quote he attributed to Charlie Kirk: “Get married, have children, build a legacy, pass down your values, pursue the eternal, seek true joy.” Mitchell framed this philosophy as essential to restoring what he perceives as America’s lost values.
Despite the inflammatory nature of his remarks, Mitchell emphasized that his position stems from what he views as a spiritual duty. “As a Christian man, you have to protect your family,” he said, calling on parents to exercise discernment about what institutions they trust with their children.
