Celebrity boxing has been all the rage in these pandemic stricken times. McBroom previously organized a different celebrity boxing event – and had a number of lawsuits filed against him in the fall out.
In his boxing debut McBroom faced Bryce Hall. While McBroom successfully knocked out Hall – he was universally slammed because his company that organized the event failed to pay the men featured on the card.
Social Gloves is the latest flop from McBroom. He was previously under fire for a 2018 Basketball Charity event that is suspected of donating only a portion of the proceeds to charity despite announcing they would donate more beforehand.
In addition to these controversies, McBroom and his wife also ran several apps that met their demise quickly without delivering on promises made to fans who purchased the subscriptions.
Despite the fact that his first boxing event, as organized by his promotion Social Gloves, is widely considered to be a flop, McBroom is preparing to get back in the ring.
He just announced he would be squaring off against AnEsonGib AnEsonGib aka Ali Loui Al-Fakhri, is a British youtuber who became popular thanks to a series of posts related to soccer. He previously had a boxing match against Jake Paul.
Jake Paul knocked out AnEsonGib within the first round when he made his pro boxing debut at the start of 2020 in Miami.
