WWE Releases Wrestler Following Stalking Allegations

WWE has parted ways with NXT performer Keanu Carver (real name Kevin Robertson) after a Florida court granted an order of protection against him stemming from accusations that he repeatedly contacted and showed up at the home of a former partner within the company.

Bryan Alvarez broke the news of the release writing, “I am told Keanu Carver was actually released last week.” The timing lines up closely with legal proceedings that had been unfolding away from the ring for weeks.

According to sources, The order of protection traces back to a petition filed on September 14 in a Florida court. The woman is NXT talent Arianna Grace (real name Bianca Carell). Carelli is the daughter of Impact Wrestling’s Santino Marella. She and Carver had previously been in a relationship that had since ended by the time the petition was submitted.

According to the 49 page petition, the breakup did not bring an end to contact between the two. Carelli alleged that Carver called her as many as 44 times in a single day and made repeated visits to her home despite the relationship being over. The filing included security camera images documenting what it described as his visits to the property, along with screenshots said to show the volume of calls coming from him.

One incident detailed in the petition took place on September 13, the day before she went to court. Carelli alleged that Carver came to her home, would not leave, and made comments about hurting himself, prompting her to call the police. The petition states he left the property before officers got there, and she sought the protective order the following day.

The petition also referenced alleged conduct predating the breakup, claiming that Carver “spat on me, physically restrained me from leaving his house.” It went further, stating, “he has threatened to [ ] me, as well as my cats, he has woken me up by plugging my nose in my sleep, he has grabbed my neck multiple times and squeezed hard while threatening to [ ] me.”

Additional incidents outlined in the filing described Carver allegedly showing up at her residence and knocking on the door before walking laps around the house for an extended stretch, not leaving until around 8 a.m.

A hearing was held on September 22, after which the court opted to keep the protective order in place. The order bars Carver from contacting Carelli and requires that he stay at least 500 feet away from her.
