White Stripes Frontman Jack White Takes A Swing At Joe Rogan Over Trump

Former White Stripes frontman Jack White recently took to Instagram to criticize Joe Rogan after the UFC commentator recently expressed concerns about the Trump administration’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.

The musician’s criticism centered on what he characterized as Rogan’s convenient reversal after actively supporting Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

“Yeah, no s**t slow Joe,” White wrote in his Instagram post. “We all knew this back when you were HELPING TRUMP GET ELECTED.”

The Grammy-winning artist didn’t stop there, mocking Rogan’s history of dispensing medical commentary during his podcast episodes: “I kind of understand though, you were busy giving out expert medical advice to millions with your advanced degree in ‘uncle in garage lifting weights’ from UFC university.”

In October 2024, Rogan hosted Trump on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, generating millions of views. Shortly before the election, Rogan publicly endorsed the candidate, leveraging his massive digital following across YouTube and Spotify to amplify Trump’s message to audiences that traditional Republican outreach rarely penetrated.

But recent episodes have revealed cracks in that alliance. During a podcast conversation, Rogan questioned the administration’s approach to releasing materials connected to Jeffrey Epstein investigations, expressing skepticism about the transparency of the process.

“This one scares the s**t out of me,” Rogan said during the episode. “This is not good. None of this is good for this administration. It looks terrible. It looks f**king terrible.”

He continued, addressing Trump’s previous dismissals of Epstein connections: “It looks terrible for Trump when he was saying that none of this was real, this is all a hoax. This is not a hoax.”

The podcaster pressed further on the incomplete nature of the document release: “You’re not protecting the vic tims so what are you doing? How come all of this s**t is not released?”

While millions of pages connected to Epstein investigations were released in early 2025, with officials characterizing the disclosure as meeting legal transparency requirements, some lawmakers criticized the heavy redactions and withheld material as undermining genuine accountability.

Jack White has maintained a consistent anti-Trump stance throughout the former president’s political career. The White Stripes previously objected to Trump using their music at campaign events, pursuing legal action before eventually dropping the case. White has also engaged in public disputes with Trump administration members over various political issues.

“Oh… Don’t even think about using my music you f**cists. Lawsuit coming from my lawyers about this,” White wrote in a previous social media post addressing Trump’s use of his work.

In another statement, White characterized Trump in stark terms: “This man is a danger to not just America but the entire world and that’s not an exaggeration; he’s dismantling democracy and endangering the planet on a daily basis, and we. all. know. it.”
